First Secretary and Head of Education Department at Chinese Embassy in Republic of Serbia, Mr. Sun Xinquan gave a lecture to the students of John Naisbitt University. The title of the lecture was:
“Economic Cooperation between China and Serbia in the Context of Cultural and Ideological Differences and Similarities”
The hosts for his lecture at the University were Assistant professor Katarina Zakić, Director of Chinese Center and Assistant professor Ana Jurčić, Director of International Cooperation Department at John Naisbitt University.
This lecture attended students of 4th year from the Faculty of Business Studies, master students from the same Faculty, and Chinese students from Hebei University of Foreign Studies.
This is a third year that professor Sun is coming to our University to give the lecture to the students, as part of Intercultural management course. Professor Sun decided this year to speak about possibilities of economic cooperation between China and Serbia. Also, he specifically analyzed the advantages of this kind of cooperation and gave concrete suggestions in which areas this cooperation is possible.
Also, during his lecture he spoke about big Chinese economic-investment project called New Silk Road (One Road – One Belt initiative). He stressed out that friendship between China and Serbia that lasts for many decades is a base for improvement of mutual cooperation, and he thinks that with the help of this project Serbia can continue successful development.
